Message 387 kilowatts is 519 horsepower. Also, a quarter mile is the same distance all over the world, in response to an earlier question.

As for the earlier discussion about Zed and Zee, here is the reason for the difference as told to me by a South African. Don't know how true it is:

In the 19th century, as little school houses were spreading across America with settlement, Zed was changed to Zee because it doesn't rhyme with the letter V! This makes the alphabet a lot easier to remember when reciting the alphabet song "A B C D E F G, H I J K L M N O P, Q R S, T U V, W X Y and ZEE".

By the way, the langauge is English, and it's pronounced "ZED!" :-)
